Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

2hour.fun is a non-custodial interface. We collect as little as possible and do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. This policy explains what is and isn’t collected when you use the Service.

1. What we collect, and what we don't

You don't need to give us your name to use the site. If you sign in with email or Google, our sign-in provider shares that email address with us. We use it to send you one welcome email when you make an account, and to email you about new features and launches only if you've said yes: in the UK, the EU / EEA and Switzerland (or if we can't tell where you are) that's only if you tick the box; elsewhere the box starts ticked and we tell you when you first sign in. If you give us your email through "Notify me when we open", we use it only for what you ticked there - one email when we open, and our news if you ticked that too - plus one email confirming you're on the list. You can untick these in Settings or unsubscribe from any email at any time. We send these emails ourselves, through our own email provider, and never sell or share your address for anyone else's marketing. We never receive your private keys or seed phrase. We do not run advertising networks, marketing cookies, or cross-site tracking pixels.

2. On-chain information

When you connect a wallet or submit a transaction, your public wallet address and the transaction become part of the public blockchain. That information is inherently public, permanent, and not controlled by us. Anything you attach to a coin (name, ticker, image, description, links) is published on-chain and/or to IPFS and is public by design.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use only strictly-necessary storage: for example, a cookie that remembers you passed the preview password gate, and browser local storage for small conveniences like your currency (USD/ETH) preference. These are not used for tracking, and there is no advertising cookie to consent to.

4. Service providers

To operate, the Service sends necessary requests to infrastructure providers — hosting, blockchain RPC nodes, an indexer, and IPFS pinning (for coin images). These providers may process technical data such as your IP address and request metadata to deliver their service and for security, under their own privacy terms. We count visits and measure how quickly pages load with our host's built-in analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights): no cookies and no cross-site tracking - visits are counted in aggregate, without identifying you. We do not sell your data to anyone.

5. Wallet and third-party tools

Your wallet and any browser extensions you use are governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. Review them separately.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes take effect when posted here.
