Notes, calls & shills

Holder-only notes, shills (calls) and how they're scored, plus following other traders.

2hour.fun opens soon. These guides explain how everything works once we're open.

Every coin page has a social side: short notes from holders, and shills (also called calls) from people backing the coin. You can also follow traders you find interesting.

Notes

  • Only holders can post notes on a coin, and the position each person holds is shown beside their note.
  • Notes are short takes - up to three a minute per coin, to keep things readable.
  • Anyone can tip a note's author in ETH or SOL. Tips go straight from one wallet to the other; 2hour.fun takes no cut.

Shills (calls)

A shill is a public call on a coin you hold - saying you rate it.

  • One shill per coin every 6 hours, and five a day.
  • For 7 days, anyone who taps your shill and then trades that coin earns you 10% of 2hour.fun's fee on their trades, before and after it graduates. If they later tap someone else's shill on the same coin, the newer one takes over.
  • If you sell all of the coin after shilling it, your shill is marked Sold so others can see.

How calls are scored

Each call is measured by the coin's peak: the highest price that held for at least a minute in the 7 days after the call, compared with the price when it was posted. The caller's own trades don't count. The best callers appear on the Callers board.

Be careful
A shill is one person's opinion, and they may hold the coin themselves. A good record on past calls doesn't mean the next one will go the same way.

Following

Follow traders from their profile to see their trades, notes and shills in your Following feed, with pop-ups (and a sound, if you like) as they happen. You can choose push notifications for their bigger buys too - see Notifications.

Key points

  • Notes are short takes from holders, showing what each person holds.
  • Shills are public calls: one per coin every 6 hours, five a day.
  • For 7 days, trades from your shill earn you 10% of 2hour.fun's fee, before and after the coin graduates.
  • Calls are scored by the coin's peak in the next 7 days; a shill is only an opinion.
