Safety badges & holder tags
What Original, Dev holds, Insiders, Top 10 and the holder tags (Dev, Sniper, Whale...) measure, and how to read them.
2hour.fun opens soon. These guides explain how everything works once we're open.
At the top of every coin page is a row of safety badges: quick facts about who holds the coin. Tap or hover any badge for a short explanation. They're information, not a verdict - a green badge doesn't make a coin safe, and an amber one doesn't make it bad.
✓ Original
Shown when no earlier coin on 2hour.fun used the same ticker, the same name or the same picture - counting coins launched in the week before it, and older coins that are still trading (graduated, or traded in the week before it launched). A later coin like that is labelled Copy, so you can see at a glance which came first. Similar ideas don't count - only the same ticker, name or picture (a name with a copycat add-on like "Real" or "2.0" counts as the same, and so does a name of five letters or more with one letter changed) - and once a coin is a week old and has stopped trading, its ticker and name are free to use again.
Liquidity locked
Shown once a coin has graduated. Its pool's liquidity can never be withdrawn by anyone.
Dev holds, Insiders hold, Top 10 hold
These show how much of the supply sits in a few hands. Pools and the curve aren't people, so they're left out.
- Dev holds - the share in the creator's wallet.
- Insiders hold - the creator plus wallets around them (see below).
- Top 10 hold - the share held by the 10 biggest wallets.
Each badge changes colour with the share:
| Badge | Green | Amber | Red |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dev holds | ≤ 5% | ≤ 15% | > 15% |
| Insiders hold | ≤ 10% | ≤ 25% | > 25% |
| Top 10 hold | ≤ 30% | ≤ 50% | > 50% |
Why it matters: if a large share is in a few wallets, a few people selling at once could move the price a lot.
Who counts as an insider
- The creator's wallet.
- The creator's other wallets (linked to the same 2hour.fun account).
- On Robinhood Chain, wallets the creator sent some of this coin to.
- Wallets whose first buy landed within 10 seconds of launch.
A friend, a giveaway or a fast buyer isn't necessarily up to anything - the badge just makes it visible.
Level 50+ holders
Counts how many of the biggest holders are level 50 or above, or have Prestiged. Levels come from trading and badges - see Badges, levels & Prestige. It shows who holds, not whether a coin will do well.
Holder tags
In a coin's Holders tab, small icons beside each wallet show who's who:
- DEV - the wallet that created this coin.
- Insider - counted in the Insiders total: linked to the dev, got coins from the dev, or bought in the first 10s.
- Sniper - first buy landed within 10s of launch.
- Whale - holds 2% or more of the supply.
- Diamond hands - bought and has never sold any.
- New wallet - their first ever trade on 2hour.fun was this coin, in the last 7 days.
The Dev and Insider wallets together make up the Insiders total in the badges row. The dev is always listed, even after selling out (then marked Sold): straight after the bonding curve while the coin is on it, first once it graduates.
Sold (on shills)
If someone posts a shill on a coin and later sells all of it, their shill is marked Sold. See Notes, calls & shills.
