Your wallet

Your trading wallet and your own wallet, adding and withdrawing funds, keeping your keys safe and spotting scams.

2hour.fun opens soon. These guides explain how everything works once we're open.

A wallet is what holds your crypto and signs your transactions. On 2hour.fun there are two kinds you may use, and both belong to you.

Your trading wallet

The first time you sign in, you get a trading wallet - one for Robinhood Chain and one for Solana. It's built for speed: trades go through straight away without a pop-up to approve each one. With Instant trades on, a very large trade still asks for a second tap, so a slip of the finger is caught.

  • It's yours alone: you can export its private key from the wallet menu at any time.
  • You can withdraw everything in it, whenever you like.

Your own wallet (Rabby, MetaMask, Phantom)

If you sign in with a browser wallet, that wallet is your login. To trade, you Move in funds from it to your trading wallet with one approval. Prefer to approve every trade in your own wallet instead? You can switch that on in the wallet menu ("Trade from … instead"). Your own wallet and its trades stay off your public profile unless you link it in Settings > Linked wallets.

Funds go into your trading wallet (from your own wallet, an exchange or a card top-up) and can be withdrawn to any address.

Adding funds

Open the wallet menu and choose Add funds. Depending on the chain you'll see:

  • Your trading wallet's address (with a copy button) to send to from an exchange or another wallet.
  • Move in, if you're signed in with your own wallet.
  • A card or Apple Pay top-up for SOL on Solana. Card buys on Robinhood Chain aren't available yet.
Be careful
Always send on the right network: ETH on Robinhood Chain, SOL on Solana. Funds sent on the wrong network usually can't be recovered - by anyone.

Withdrawing

Choose Withdraw in the wallet menu, pick what to send and where. You can save addresses with a name in your address book, and switch on Only send to saved addresses so a pasted or mistyped address can't be used by accident.

Network fees

Every transaction pays a small network fee (often called gas) to the blockchain itself, in ETH or SOL. Keep a little in your wallet for these, even when you're selling.

Keys and safety

A private key (or a seed phrase, a list of words) is the master password to a wallet. Whoever has it controls everything in it.

  • Never share your private key or seed phrase with anyone, for any reason.
  • 2hour.fun will never message you asking for your key, a seed phrase or a password.
  • Only export your key to store it somewhere safe and offline that only you can reach.

Common scams to avoid

  • Fake support. Someone in your messages offering to "fix" your wallet or "verify" it. Real help never needs your key.
  • Lookalike websites. Check the address bar says 2hour.fun before you sign anything.
  • "Send me crypto and I'll send back double." It never comes back.
  • Signing things you don't understand. If a wallet pop-up asks to approve something unexpected, close it.

Key points

  • Your trading wallet is made for you at sign-in and is yours alone - export or withdraw any time.
  • Browser wallets (Rabby, MetaMask, Phantom) can sign you in and Move in funds.
  • Send funds on the right network; mistakes usually can't be undone.
  • Never share a private key or seed phrase. 2hour.fun will never ask for one.
